The core working principle of the roll slitting machine is to achieve precise slitting of large rolls of material through the coordinated operation of three major stages: unwinding, slitting, and rewinding. First, the unwinding mechanism uses a hydraulic expansion shaft to fix the large roll of raw material. A servo motor drives the unwinding roller to release the roll material at a uniform speed. Simultaneously, the tension control system monitors the roll tension in real time and adjusts the tension via a pneumatic device to ensure smooth and tension-free roll delivery. Next, the roll enters the slitting mechanism. According to the preset slitting width, the PLC control system drives the servo motor to adjust the blade shaft spacing. High-precision blades (circular/flat blades) precisely slit the roll material. During the slitting process, an intelligent deviation correction mechanism detects the edge position of the roll material in real time and corrects deviations by pushing guide rollers with cylinders, ensuring an accurate slitting trajectory. Finally, the slit rolls enter the dual-station winding mechanism. The winding motor automatically matches the winding speed according to the slitting speed to achieve synchronous winding. When one winding station is completed, the equipment automatically switches to another station to continue winding.
